Mama Yousuf Laghari  Profile By Nimra Pathan Yousuf Laghari is renowned lawyer, columnist and activist. He belongs to Mirpurkhas’s small village, got his primary education from his native village and later district headquarter Mispurkhas. He did graduation and LLB from Sindh University in 1967. All his relatives and friends used to call him Ma’ma Yousuf. He is also known as a wonderful person and a good lawyer.  Mr Laghari remained President of Sindh University Students’ Union in late sixties. He along with Ali Akber Brohi and others led the students’ protest of Sindh University in 1967, which was baton charges and teargassed in Ayub era. He along with over 200 students of Sindh University was arrested. This incident is remembered in the history as 4th March. This gave a new turn to the students and nationalist politics in Sindh.
