Wahdu Wah

          Wahduwah is the name of canal between the main road therefore road is also named as Wahduwah. Wahduwah is the main artery of Qasimabad. It starts from Qasimabad bypass and ends in Latifabad. It is 4 km long. It is road which connects many different colonies of Hyderabad for example Defence, Prince town, GOR, Abduallah palace and many more. Two over-head bridges intercept Wahduwah.

          Wahduwah roads were reconstructed in the year of 2015 because it was so congested and it causes too much traffic hindrances. In its construction one more road lane was added to it and many U-turns were closed which used to cause traffic jam on various parts of wahduwah.

         Wahduwah road is used for transportation purposes and wahduwah canal is used for disposing the drained water of rain in wahduwah canal. It is cleaned every month because it becomes too much stinky as all sewage water flows from it. Whenever it rains all colonies of Qasimabad drain their water in Wahduwah canal which causes the increase of standing water in latifabad.

          Nowadays the wahduwah's main attraction is BlacknBrown Bakery. It is one of the finest bakery in Hyderabad. Here people came to buy cakes and bakery items for their loved ones.

          Many incidents every year takes place there just because it is overcrowded. 29-March-2017, It was a bright sunny day when a family was getting their 5-year-old son ready for school. The rikshaw man came to pick him the boy say good bye to his parents to go on riksha he and his parents didnt knew that it will be last goodbye from their son. The rikshaw hits the point due to which the child fell off the rikshaw and died.

          On Dec 21, 2013. A white colour nisaan vehicle was about to collide a bike but to save it the driver turns car so hard that car goes in to Wahduwah canal. If driver didnt have tried to save biker he would have died. No causalities were there.

          Due to massive traffic jam until now the government is constructing new bridges and removing the encroachments on Wahduwah road.

          Wahduwah is one of the must visiting places in Hyderabad because it is beautifully built-up now and it have many restaurents and cafe besides it. For example Roopa Mari, Cafe Sufi, Demascus, Cafe Arsalan and many more.

          The Government should do something about the traffic jam and accidents happen there. In my opinion, the goverment should close the wahduwah canal by putting pipe line in it and utilize the area for broading roads. Another opinion is remove all encroached buildings shops and wide it by 500 metres both sides. By doing this, people who park their cars get to goods from shop they wont park there.
