Tahi  :   basically  music is considered  the food of  soul  and indeed it is
I have been playing music since I was a child growing up in Kotri , even during half time in my school I would love to sit in the class   alone  and play beats on the tables  and when there was less at that time I could listen myself better regardless of  whether anyone else could hear me or not I didn’t care about that thing    so  at  the very first  i am my own discoverer of talent  .

Q2:-which  instrument you started to play at firstly ?
Tahir :  My love for music began with dholak but at that time no one was  with me  to sing  so                             I often started to sing  and play myself .
Q3:-At which age you started to sing ?
Tahir :  My  first attempt was selected for singing in radio Pakistan  show called  “Baranji bari” so from that program I shown  my talent ,  when I  was  around ten years , i started learning to sing  under  Ustad  Muhammad Yousuf soon  who taught me every basic thing about singing, I soon started performing in various occasion with my teacher  I had opportunity to earn on that time too while I played
people from audience would walk up to me and dropped some cash  into my lap.

Q4:-why you early choose this field only ?
Tahir :  The purpose of choosing this field was I   started  earning very soon at the age of approximately ten years so that’s why I got stuck in this field  and hadn’t any other option  to left , my young age gave me rare advantage to enter in  the women’s  section of segregated  weddings  and play and sing for  the women while they enjoyed my songs and danced on it.

Q5:- which difficulties you had to faced   in this  field ?
Tahir : There were many difficulties which  had to face but one of biggest problem was for me that over the years PTV were not play many Sindhi songs ,  with the expansion of the electronic media and especially Sindhi channels artist like me  got increasing opportunities to perform their talent with dedication  on a mass level.

Q6 :-who inspired you for becoming singer ?
Tahir :  My inspiration is my aunty she was folk dancer and temporary singer  in
weddings  so she always encouraged me and made  capable and bore all the expenditures to put focus on my passion , all credits goes to her  cause my parents were dead in accident and she bred me and msde a streamline for me .

Q7- which thing require most  in this field ?
Tahir :  In this field you have to  require dedication and hard working and the main thing you need to  focus on every aspects of music and you have to do more and more practice but for learning the singing you have to teach  basic things in  singing like when you sing Ghazal you have to raise  your melody more  so each and every single has its own way of performing .

Q8-What do   you thing, has   this profession    obtained that importance in our society ?
Tahir : our society is basically old tradition society our norms haven’t  forwarded  and our society doesn’t allocate other people to show their talent means they doesn’t support our poor artists , though they are also part of this society  established still so this field is getting importance slowly gradually.

still I am in process of perceiving  more to my audience
singer entertains the audience with his confidential power and skills.
