Hyderabad is a well known city it is a second largest city of Sindh Pakistan.
Hyderabad city contains a huge list of schools in which both Private schools and Government schools are included some of them are very well known schools but one of the most old re owned
school is “Public School Hyderabad”.
Public school Hyderabad was inaugurated on (31st July 1961) by
Mr. NIAZ Ahmed who was commissioner of Hyderabad Division at that time and was also founder of Public School his enthusiastically hard work raised the school level higher. Construction work of Public school was done in
one year whereas construction of hostels and society were also constructed
at same time period. Public school
has around 8 passing gates from which2 are the main gates one gate
is at Latifabad unit no 3 which is only use for school purpose and second gate is at Latifabad unit no 2 which is usually use for
school as well as for society
entrance.
The Society
holds around 62 houses for public
school employees and their families.Public school is constructed over
120 acre of area and has
various portions and divisions like grounds, society, separate boys/Girls school portions and
hostel's portion. Public School contains 4 huge play grounds for
sports where hostlers of school use to play different sports/Games. The School interestingly have 6 different hostels which are very well constructed where almost 500+ students are living. The beauty of this school is a big clock tower where number of people used to come and took the advantage of this beautiful view by
capturing it in their cameras. This clock tower is the main focus of people's
eye where different groups, families and university students come to visit it
and enjoy its wonderful view.
Public
school Hyderabad also has a swimming pool where students used to come for
swimming and enjoyment it can also be called another beauty of Public school very few people knows
about this swimming pool existence. According to few people an incident is
related to this pool according to which a young boy lost his life due to incorrect
diving who came there for swimming purpose along with his friend but
unfortunately he lost his life due to incorrect diving. That was a very heart
touching incident because an innocent boy lost his life.
The first
opening ceremony of Public school was performed by Field Marshal Ayub Khan
(H.P.H.J) on 31st July
1961 who was the honourable President
of Pakistan at that time
and it was the remarkable and the most proudful moment of Public school. Public School holds a huge list ofrespected
and hardworking principals who really did hard
work forthe school betterment. Mr. Satar Keerio (Retired professor Public school ) he said in his statement regarding school that the initial period of “Mr. Ishaq Abro” was golden and historical
because when he became principal
of school then school was very well going and was free from financial
problems, and all kind of crises and politics which were the critical problems for school earlier, he further said that
during his time Public school Hyderabad
was one of the top 20 schools
of sindh Pakistan. Education
of this school was that much satisfying that a
large number of students took admission at his time, his hard work and
achievements enhanced the value of school. After his retirement the school reputation got down fall because of
politics and illegal appointments of new
faculty.
Now
if we take a look at the present condition of
school it is facing serious
crises that are taking the school towards
worst conditions these problems led school towards the serious financial crises
and lack of education priority. When next principal of school Mr. Mazhar was
appointed then downfall of school started because of illegal appointments and less educational interest. Student strength of school fall down which were about
4000 at the time of Mr.ishaq abro but now due to different crises the number of
students decreased to 2000. Even the
society of school is suffering from serious financial problems due
to which people are not even getting salaries. Government has given about 50 billion fund to
overcome these problems and for the school renovationl from which just 12 billions are used for school betterment.
Public school is facing the problems just because of the unfair activities that
are taking place in school and are increasing day by day.

Public school was inaugurated on (31st July 1961) by Mr. Niaz Ahmed who was commissioner of Hyderabad Division and also founder of Public School, his enthusiastically hard work took this school in upper level of development in that way construction of Public school was completed in just one year hostels and society were also constructed in same time period. Public school has around 8 gates but 2 main gates which mostly been used are Latifabad unit no 3 gate which just use for school purpose only and second gate is in unit 2 which is use for society entrance as well as school purpose. Society holds around 62 houses in which employee’s and there’s families are living.

If we talk about present condition of school it is going downfall serious crises took place in the sense of education or in the sense of financial problems enhanced. When next principal Mr. Mazhar was appointed after Ishaq Abro then downfall of school started crises are marked up even education of school goes down because addiction of political interference are been adapted illegal un qualified teachers are appointed.
In School Strength of students are fallen down almost 4000 were studying in Ishaq Abro time and now 2000 students are just remained. Now Society of school is suffering from financial problems where people don’t even get salaries. Government has given 50 billion fund for construction and low financial condition of school where as, slightly only 12 billion just used for school construction. When Public School was constructed then first remarkable ceremony was held in which President of Pakistan took participation where Ministers, Chairmen of different departments had attended this was historic moment of Public School Hyderabad.
